What the New Testament Church pattern does expect, is that those people who benefit spiritually from the work of the Lord's servants, should in some fashion unselfishly support those servants, based upon their individual ability to give. The more one gives, the more they will be blessed in return by the Lord. This is the New Testament Church pattern regarding giving. It is done on a voluntary basis.
