They won't leave me alone, Won't you please go away, Stop now with the barrage, I don't care what you say. Seriously I've had enough, A long rest I really need, All of your political rants, I don't have time to read. In my inbox, on my phone, Plus the radio and my TV, What a nuisance you are, Just like some darn flea. But it is a campaign year, So for me there’s no hope, Now I’ve got to figure out, How I am going to cope.

#Poetry #Poem MIDTERMS by Bill Kochman 02-18-2022 We're coming down to the midterms, Politicians are playing for blood, Out come their knives and daggers, They'll drag you through the mud. To them facts aren't so important, They'll say whatever to win a poll, So happy to cast dirt on opponents, As their lies take a dreadful toll. It doesn't really matter the party, Those politicians are all the same, Convincing you they did not do it, It's the opposition that's to blame. Forget about the important issues, They distract you with red herrings, They will sow doubts and suspicion, So the opponent loses his bearings. A cruel political fight for survival, Only one party can take that crown, Thus they'll pull out all the stops, Just to take that other man down.

#Poetry #Poem VOTING IN AMERICA by Bill Kochman 10-17-2024 The more they can do undercover, The more they can likewise cheat, Thus they're all for mail-in ballots, As their opponent they try to beat. And then there are those illegals, To them voting is not even a right, I suspect we'll have hanky-panky, If the race is just looking too tight. And what about those dead folks? Man, they are such a patriotic lot, They all still try to vote anyways, Tho they are dead they just forgot. We have also got double-dippers, From another state or other town, They cheat & vote multiple times, So their candidate wins the crown. Now as for the voting drop boxes, Paint in big letters “CHEAT HERE”, Thus I ask should we be surprised, When we see who's prez next year? They keep saying it is too big to rig, But they have such a devious plan, So I just honestly have to wonder, If it will be won by the rightful man.

Liberals are now so desperate, Polls say they are in a big stew, Losing power is not their option, So exactly what will they do? A false flag op may be coming, Say people who live in the shade, Something to grab our attention, As under the table money is paid. I am not a conspiracy theorist, It’s just a whisper I have heard, Maybe there is nothing to this, It could be totally absurd. But if something really happens, Will it come as a big surprise? Not for folks who are watching, Who’ve already opened their eyes.
