North Koreans were once the war song, That is till the Viet Cong came along, Then al-Qaeda & Afghans did us wrong, And so once again we went to war. Saddam and those Iraqis then came next, ISIS and Iranians, our souls they vexed, As for Bashar, so many lives he wrecked, Thus again we looked for another war. They never stop, there's always a reason, Make a new enemy, it's again open season, Political warmongering seems like treason, Yet still they'll start another new war.

Peace thru strength we're told, Is what keeps the evil at bay, Yet Jesus set down His code, And taught us another way. Although we are in this world, All its wars are not our own, We must trust God to keep us, And claim His protection alone. Violence is not for a Christian, Leave it to the children of men, Seek peace in all your ways, And God will bless you then. No, don't engage in their wars, Hold to the Gospel of peace, Perhaps after so much dying, All violence will finally cease.

Trained not to think, follow every order, When the word is given, fire that mortar. Harden your heart, and resist the pain, Otherwise, you will no doubt go insane. Time to go home now, your job is done, A lot of blood spilled, but a war was won. You are a big hero, they all now exclaim, But yet deep inside, you still feel blame. But surely it's just bravado, Nuclear war no one can win, For there is no stopping it, Should a conflict ever begin. Mutually assured destruction, It has such a wonderful sound, By the time those bombs stop, There'll be no one left around. Once humans leave the scene, Rats and roaches will be kings, Spiders, snakes and scorpions, Other delightful creepy things. Then as Nuclear Winter sets in, And days grow so dark & cold, Vegetation will soon die off, And all life will lose its hold. Now perhaps after many years, An alien race will pass us by, They'll look down at our planet, And wonder, just why, oh why? A pretty jewel in the heavens, Bestowed by the Almighty God, Thru greed and pride destroyed, Now just a scarred & ugly clod.
