In fact, right now I "own" two cats as well named Polo and Eljio. They were both born under my bed to two different mothers in late summer 2021. One thing which you quickly learn about cats is that they are very independent, stubborn, insistent, persistent, and they have a mind of their own. They do as they please, and they GO where they please as well. Eventually, that may even include mounting the counter tops where you prepare your meals, no matter how hard you try to train them not to do it. The end result? Eventually, you are occasionally going to find a cat hair in your food. Disgusting? Yeah, I guess; but that's life with a cat.
