#Poetry #Poem TWITTER BLUES by Bill Kochman 04-14-2023 Twitter Blue is really a money grab, Better off spending my cash on a cab. I bought Twitter Blue for a whole year, But did my tweets even move up a tier? Ha! Nope, not at all, it is still the same, I am getting tired of this Twitter game. They don't like me, what have I done? Why don't my tweets ever see the Sun? My views are lousy, I'm shadow banned, It's quite obvious my posts are canned. Nobody sees them, I am just all alone, So why do I even burn up this phone? The Twitter blues got me, you can see, But how would you feel if you were me? I've been on Twitter for 12 plus years, Maybe it's time for me to change gears.

Eight-four dollars down the drain, And nothing to show for it is true, Yes, I am feeling quite frustrated, And I just don’t know what to do. It has become so quite obvious, They must not like what I create, Yeah, even with Elon in charge, I can’t seem to get out the gate. Tell me why are my thots hidden, I can post but there is no reach, Twitter elites have all of the fun, But for me Twitter life's no peach. Four times I emailed their staff, Hoping they would give me relief, But all I got were auto-responses, So with Twitter I’ve got a big beef. I’m not joking, it’s got me so upset, Four identical emails sent to me, So even if they now kick me out, This injustice I just can’t let it be. In fact, to date -- April 21, 2023 -- I have posted over 43,000 tweets, and I continue to be very active to this day. One would think that given my amount of time on Twitter, plus the number of tweets I have made, and my normal level of engagement, by this time, I would have quite a following, and many of my tweets would have received thousands of views and thousands of likes, comments and retweets, right? Sadly, such is not the case whatsoever, and has never been the case. Prior to the arrival of Elon Musk, and due to the fact that Twitter was controlled by liberals who have a clear bias against Conservatives and Christians, my tweets didn't stand a chance for getting any real exposure.
