#Poetry #Poem https://www.billkochman.com/Poetry REJECTED! by Bill Kochman 04-05-2023 Yes, so many turn against us, They hate us more each day, Refusing the light we share, And rejecting God's holy way. They are lovers of darkness, Hiding their sins in the night, Try to tell them God's Word, For them it is just too bright. No, they don't want to listen, They prefer the Devil's lies, So they mock and avoid us, Tho we try to open their eyes. It's such a very sad situation, When someone's heart is hard, They put up all their defenses, Never letting down their guard. Though we try to save them, By telling them about the Lord, They sink in sin's mirky waters, And refuse to jump on board. Someday they'll surely know, How foolish they have been, While others enter God's City, The angels won't let them in.

#Poetry #Poem NO HALLOWEEN SCENE by Bill Kochman 10-03-2025 The month of Halloween has finally arrived, When children dress like monsters and such, But know that if you’re a servant of the Lord, All Hallows Eve you shouldn’t dare to touch. Now why would it even be wrong to celebrate, In the world they claim it’s simply a night of fun, But slaves of darkness esteem it as a holy day, When vile, ungodly things are said to be done. Steeped in the rites of the ancient Celtic religion, Communion with the dead took place this night, But the Scriptures make clear it’s forbidden to do, In this our Father in Heaven doesn’t take delight. Likewise head-hunting & even human sacrifices, Were a core practice of Celtic life many years ago, Druid priests were officiants of their pagan faith, They were intellectuals who actually ran the show. Lighting bonfires and wearing costumes & masks, Were also a central part of the ancient celebration, Children played pranks hoping to get food or coins, Bu...
