JUST ONE PRAYER

by Bill Kochman

01-24-2019

When you're sitting in a stew,
Not really sure what to do,
Don't be sad, don't be blue,
Ask the Lord to see you through.

Often tho we don't make the call,
We don't think of Him at all.
We struggle along in our test,
Just really hoping for the best.

Then when things go really sour,
We cry, Oh God I need your power.
I am sorry, I dropped the ball,
Please don't let me take a fall.

Then God whispers in your ear,
Oh silly child, I'm always near.
I've been waiting for you to ask,
To help you out with your task.

It's not yours alone to bear,
All I needed was just one prayer.
