Then you'll plead for mercy, Although it will be too late, You lived in your defiance, So accept your coming fate.

Give them a hunger for Your truth, And a desire to follow Your rules, Free from the lies and deception, Yes, no longer that Devil’s tools. Grant them a more humble spirit, Remove their cold hearts of stone, No longer looking to themselves, Just trusting in you, Father, alone. May an attitude of true repentance, Reverberate throughout the nation, Thus renewing each & every mind, Making us a righteous congregation.

But that is quite okay, There's money to be made, It is great for business, As long as they get paid. People have heard so many sermons, They know all about the Good Book, They want to see a true example, When at your life they take a look. Words are quite easily spoken, Doing as Jesus said is what counts, Lacking a sample with our sermon, To nothing our fine preaching amounts.

Yeah, throwing out many verses, Trying to enforce their own view, Attacks with such mean ferocity, It’s really quite the doctrinal stew. Rather than being bound by love, Mercilessly they all slice and dice, Thus before you tangle with them, I advise you to think it over twice. Even tho one appears to be right, A bad attitude makes one wrong, Let go of your self-righteous pride, Start singing a much better song. Such behavior is simply not fitting, For someone who loves the Lord, So rather than chop up brethren, Please just put away your sword.

Everything orderly with no waste, Efficiency was their only game, Smart machines doing it better, Until we saw their ultimate aim. Rejecting the Bible's notion, Of the Blood of Jesus alone, They trust in works of flesh, Tho for us Jesus did atone. Trying to mix Grace & works, Was His death not enough? Muslims can say whatever they like, But I take it with a big grain of salt, If their religion is hated even more, It is really just their own fault.

Growing up, some you knew quite well, Maybe they got you under their spell. Some in TV shows, others in a movie, Man, you thought they were so groovy. Some great rock band, or a video star, Their performance left your mouth ajar. Years have passed and now they're gone, No more movies, no, not a single song. It makes us realize life is so fleeting, Reminds us death we'll all be greeting. What we have done is what will remain, Did we bring someone joy, or only pain? Old age arrives, life comes to a close, God will now judge us by what we chose. Did we accept Christ, did we let Him in, Or did we rebel and continue in our sin? God's Word says that if we choose right, We will shine like a star in the night.
