THERE IS A COST FOR UNCONTROLLED IMMIGRATION!
Some people, particularly certain liberals, erroneously claim that it is our Christian duty to help every single illegal who crosses our border. They may even point to certain Bible verses which discuss the laws regarding aliens and strangers in ancient Israel, or mention the story of the good Samaritan and similar Bible verses.
However, the Scriptures also teach us that we should give according to our ability, and that we must provide for our own families first — 1 Tim. 5:8. We should NOT foolishly overextend ourselves.
The truth is that uncontrolled immigration leads to serious problems. The Israelites eventually backslid, and for centuries they worshipped the false gods of strangers who entered their land. Sadly, even king Solomon did it.
Today the USA has many problems resulting from open borders. Great Britain and the rest of Europe now has a serious Muslim problem due to lax immigration policies. In Israel, the Jews will soon be outnumbered by the Arabs within their borders.
Thus we see that we all need to seriously consider the real cost of liberal politics.
